No Child Left Behind: Vision for All

Driven by a Mother's Story, Dedicated to Ending Preventable Blindness in Tanzania

About Us

Macho Vision Foundation was founded by Judith Mollel, a mother, activist, and survivor of a harrowing experience with her firstborn son, Abelardo, with Coats Disease which is uncommon eye ailment in children. [Read Abelardo’s Story →] (https://knowtheglow.org/abels-glow-story/). Following months of inordinate delays, misdiagnoses, and expensive treatment overseas, Judith realized the systemic deficit in Tanzania in pediatric eye care. From this came the inspiration that no other child should suffer from delayed diagnosis or a lack of resources. Since then, the foundation has been a beacon of hope, striving to make a difference in the lives of children and families impacted by eye diseases and related challenges.
